Meet The Team

Jill hill
Jill Hill is a certified Yoga instructor. She fell in love with Yoga years ago and finally made the leap to get certified. Jill loves teaching and her students! She also really enjoys seeing her students achieve their fitness goals through Yoga. Her passion for teaching and Jesus led her to Yoga Faith, where she has incorporated scripture and worship into her classes. She is married to her first love, Lem and together they have 2 beautiful children: Joseph and Presley Jane.
Jill has been so blessed to be a "stay at home mom" for 18 years and is excited to begin a new season of working outside of the home teaching Yoga. Her family has lived in Morgan County for 13 years and she has loved every second of this small town life.

Melissa Martin
Melissa is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She received her 200-hour certification (RYT 200) from Northwest Yoga Academy in the Pacific Northwest. She also holds a RYFT 200 level certification, which is a concentrated study in faith-based yoga. Melissa began practicing yoga over ten years ago after the birth of her second child. She was introduced to the concept of faith-based yoga at her church. She quickly fell in love with the practice because of the many physical, mental and spiritual benefits that yoga provides. Upon moving to Madison in 2012, Melissa realized that while there were many local options for practicing yoga, none were faith-based. In 2015, after a difficult year that included the death of her father, a close relative's cancer diagnosis and the discovery that her youngest son had permanent hearing loss, Melissa was encouraged by a counselor to make yoga a more regular part of her life. It was on the yoga mat that she felt that God was calling her to bring faith-based yoga to Madison. Melissa is a wife to Brian and mom to three boys. She is a former school counselor and currently teaches preschool music and yoga. Melissa is a member of Madison First United Methodist Church and enjoys volunteering at the local schools and with the Morgan County Young Life Committee.

Whitney Merritt
Whitney has practiced yoga more than half of her life, starting in her living room with her mom in high school. Whitney received her 200 R-YFT certification in 2019 after taking Yoga Faith classes in Madison with Jill and Melissa.
Whitney fell in love with Yoga all over again through Yoga Faith, allowing herself to find stillness in mind and spirit and meeting God in the quiet of Yoga. Whitney loves teaching Power Yoga, Gentle Yoga, and Yoga Faith. She strives for her classes to be uplifting and for her people to leave her classes refreshed. Whitney is married to her husband Trey and they have two dogs, Captain and Sailor. Whitney recently finished her Masters in School Counseling and is excited to start her career here in Morgan County where she grew up.

Emmaleigh Mooney
My name is Emmaleigh! I've been on my fitness journey for 8 years, and I never would have dreamed I'd be 70 lbs lighter than my starting weight, and a fitness instructor! But here I am!! And now fitness is my passion and teaching classes is a great way for me to share that passion with other people. I am certified to teach Barre Yoga, Silver Sneakers, and Pound and I really enjoy teaching each one of them! When I'm not in the gym, or teaching classes, I'm usually busy being a wife and mom! Spending time with my family, going to festivals on the weekends, playing soccer and football with my son, or running races for good causes are a few of my favorite pass times. I just really enjoy being active, being healthy, and being able to always work towards being a better version of me!
