Your yoga journey starts here.  Whether you're  new to yoga, or a novice, Hold Space Yoga Studio offers yoga classes for all levels, meditations, and workshops.  Conveniently located in downtown Madison, GA.  All classes are led by 200 hour RYT Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructors.  Private and semi-private sessions are available, at an additional charge, with any of the instructors.  Holding Space provides a grounded, compassionate, generous and non-judgmental presence for anyone looking for yoga.  We can't wait to share our space with you!

Class Schedule & Descriptions

BARRE: A hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements.

GENTLE YOGA: A practice for those who just want to take it slower.  Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and working with the joints.

VINYIN YOGA: This class will begin with a warming and heart-opening yang practice allowing prana or energy to begin flowing in the body. The second half of the class will focus on yin poses held longer to stretch the connective tissues helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body. 


STRETCH & STRENGTHEN: This class is aimed to strengthen and stretch your body. You'll learn to properly align your body to make sure you are using the right muscles in the poses to prevent injury or strain. 


SLOW BURN YOGA: This Yoga class works from the inside out, using heat to allow the joints and the deep tissues to expand and release into greater flexibility. Sweating is one of the healthiest things we can do to improve our vascular function, regulate impurities, and burn more calories, so we will crank up the heat to 90 degrees to maximize these benefits. If you have joint pain, want to improve flexibility or are looking for a unique way to burn calories add this class to your workout plan.

YOGA FAITH: A unique class that combines the poses, breath work and meditation of a typical yoga class while getting the focus and intention on Jesus.
